Status 200 Uploads vs Zernio

Zernio, formerly Late (getlate.dev), is an API-first platform for social posting, inboxes, ads and messaging. Here is how it compares, checked against Zernio's own pricing page and docs.

Status 200 is better for

  • Skool community owners: Skool is not among the platforms Zernio publishes to
  • Creators and small brands who want one flat price: Beginner ($9/mo) covers 3 profiles, each with one account on up to 8 networks, where Zernio bills each account past the first 2 ($6 a month each up to 10 accounts)
  • Creators who post Instagram Reels longer than 90 seconds or X videos larger than 512 MB
  • People who keep their videos in Google Drive: paid plans post from a Google Drive share link

Zernio is better for

  • Developers building a product whose own users connect their accounts: white-label connect flows, webhooks and SDKs in 8 languages
  • Teams that also post to Reddit, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, Telegram, Discord, Slack or WhatsApp
  • Teams that want comments, DMs, reviews and ads in the same API
  • Anyone with 1 or 2 accounts: Zernio's first 2 accounts are free, with no post allowance beyond its per-account caps

Zernio has no plans or seats. Each connected account (an Instagram account, a Facebook Page, a YouTube channel, an ad account, a WordPress site or a Shopify store) is billed per month at the rate of its band, so 10 accounts cost $48/mo, 20 cost $78/mo and 100 cost $318/mo in Zernio's own examples. Accounts are metered daily and charged to a card on file; the first 2 need no card, but a third account or any X account does. X API calls are billed on top at X's rates ($0.015 per post, $0.20 per post with a link), and messages sent past 10,000 a month and ads past 500 are metered too. No yearly billing or trial is listed.

Key differences

Where the two products differ

Skool publishing

Status 200 posts to Skool communities on every paid plan, from Beginner ($9/mo): from the dashboard, the REST API, or an AI app such as Claude connected to our MCP server. Skool is not among the platforms Zernio lists on its site or in its docs (checked 15 October 2026).

Per plan vs per connected account

Zernio bills each connected account: the first 2 are free, accounts 3 to 10 cost $6 a month each, 11 to 100 cost $3 and every one after that $1, metered daily. Status 200 prices per plan, and one profile holds one account on each supported network, so Beginner ($9/mo, or $90 a year) covers 3 brands on up to 8 networks each. One brand on the 7 networks both tools support (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Threads) costs $30 a month at Zernio and $9 on Beginner; 3 brands on 4 networks each (12 accounts) cost $54 at Zernio. Zernio costs less for 1 or 2 accounts (they are free), and for many accounts on one network, which take a profile each here.

Longer Reels and bigger X videos

Status 200 takes Instagram Reels up to 15 minutes, Instagram's own limit for Reels published from an app, where Zernio's Instagram page lists 90 seconds. It also takes X videos up to 5 GB, where Zernio's X page lists 512 MB.

Where Zernio is ahead

Zernio lists 16 platforms, among them Reddit, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, Telegram, Discord, Slack and WhatsApp; one of the 16, Snapchat, is not available yet. The same API covers an inbox for comments, DMs and reviews, ads on 8 ad networks, webhooks, SDKs in 8 languages and a CLI. It has apps in Zapier and Make; there is no Status 200 app in either. Its first 2 accounts are free, MCP server included.

Who should use which?

Choose Status 200 if...

  • You run a Skool community and want it on the same schedule as your other networks
  • You want a flat price: one brand on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Threads is $9/mo on Beginner ($7.50 a month billed yearly) and $30 a month at Zernio
  • You post Instagram Reels longer than 90 seconds or X videos larger than 512 MB
  • You keep your media in Google Drive: paid plans, from Beginner, import a Google Drive share link
  • You want a dashboard with a media library and an AI caption generator next to the REST API

Choose Zernio if...

  • You need Reddit, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, Telegram, Discord, Slack or WhatsApp
  • You are building a product whose users connect their own accounts, and want white-label connect flows, webhooks and SDKs in 8 languages
  • You want an inbox for comments, DMs and reviews, or ads on 8 ad networks, in the same API
  • You only need 1 or 2 accounts: Zernio's first 2 are free, with its MCP server and no post allowance beyond its per-account caps
  • You post X threads, LinkedIn documents or polls, or Pinterest video Pins
  • You build in Zapier or Make: there is no Status 200 app in either
  • You connect many accounts on one network: 50 Instagram accounts cost $168 a month at Zernio, while Status 200 needs a profile for each, which means Agency ($499/mo)

Switching from Zernio?

Follow these steps to move your publishing over

  1. Create a free Status 200 Uploads account at status200uploads.com/signup

  2. Connect the same social accounts you connected to Zernio. Eight networks connect through their own official sign-in (OAuth), so we never see your password. Skool has no such sign-in: you paste your Skool session cookie, which we store encrypted.

  3. Upload your media to the Status 200 media library, or import it from a URL through the API (videos up to 5 GB, images up to 20 MB)

  4. Point your code at the Status 200 REST API (POST /api/v2/posts, one request per network and profile), or use the Python package (pip install status200uploads) or the n8n node

  5. Recreate scheduled posts with post.scheduledFor (up to 365 days ahead), confirm your first posts publish, then disconnect the accounts at Zernio so they stop being billed
