Claude
Post to social media from Claude
Add Status 200 Uploads to Claude as a custom connector with the address https://mcp.status200uploads.com/mcp, sign in once, and Claude can post and schedule to the networks you connected. You ask in plain words; Claude finds the file, asks what only you can choose (such as who may see a TikTok post), checks the post and sends it. The connector works in Claude on the web, in Claude Desktop and in the iPhone app.

What you need
- Plan
- Included in every paid plan, from Beginner.
- A Claude plan with custom connectors
- Custom connectors are added in Claude's settings. Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector, which is enough for ours.
- On Team and Enterprise
- An Owner adds the connector under Organization settings, Connectors (Add, Custom, Web), and each member then clicks Connect on it under Customize, Connectors.
- Server address
- https://mcp.status200uploads.com/mcp. No key to copy: Claude signs in to it (OAuth 2.1).
- Connected networks
- Connect each network once in the Status 200 Uploads dashboard under Connections; Claude posts from those profiles only.
Open Claude's connectors · Enter our address and keep Claude's identity · Sign in and allow · Switch it on in a chat and ask · Use it on your computer and phone
Every network you connected
Tested on 13 October 2026 with Claude (web, Desktop, iPhone).
How to connect
Open Claude's connectors
On claude.ai (Pro and Max), open Customize, then Connectors, click + Add and choose Add custom connector.
Tested on with Claude (web, Desktop, iPhone).
Enter our address and keep Claude's identity
Name it Status 200 Uploads, enter https://mcp.status200uploads.com/mcp and click Continue. Under Authentication, choose Sign in now. Under OAuth client, keep "Use Claude's published identity (Recommended)": with "Register automatically" we do not recognise Claude, and it can only read your account. Then click Add.
Sign in and allow
Our page opens and says "We recognise this app". Sign in to Status 200 Uploads, keep "Post and schedule for you" switched on if Claude may post, choose how long the connection lasts (30, 60 or 90 days, or until you disconnect), and click Allow.
Switch it on in a chat and ask
In a chat, click the + button at the lower left, open Connectors and switch Status 200 Uploads on. Then ask, for example, "List my Status 200 accounts", and allow the tool when Claude asks. After that, ask for a post in plain words.
Tested on with Claude (web, Desktop, iPhone).
Use it on your computer and phone
The connector you added on claude.ai is there in Claude Desktop and in the iPhone app too: use the connector the same way.
Tested on with Claude Desktop and the iPhone app.
What it can do
| What | Where | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Your accounts and their options | Every network you connected | Lists your profiles and connected networks, and reads what each network allows before it builds a post (status200_list_accounts, status200_get_posting_options). |
| A file from your media library | Every network you connected | Finds a file you uploaded in the dashboard under Media by its name and posts it by its file id (status200_list_media). |
| A file from a link | Every network you connected | Imports a video or an image from a public web address, or from a Google Drive file shared with "Anyone with the link" (status200_upload_media_from_url). |
| Check, publish and schedule | Every network you connected | Checks a post without sending it, publishes it, or schedules it, and can change or cancel a scheduled post before it goes out (status200_validate_post, status200_publish_post, status200_schedule_post, status200_update_scheduled_post, status200_cancel_scheduled_post). |
| After it goes out | Every network you connected | Reads your posts and how each went, sends a failed post again, and reads the numbers a post earned (status200_get_post, status200_list_posts, status200_retry_post, status200_get_post_performance). |
A worked example: a video from the media library
A request like this one was run on , after the video had been uploaded in the dashboard under Media.
You ask
Post the video "launch-teaser" from my media library to YouTube as a private video with the title "Launch teaser".
What happens
Claude found the file by its name with status200_list_media and published it with status200_publish_post: the video went out to YouTube as a private video. Before it sends a post, Claude can also check it with status200_validate_post, which sends nothing.
Limits and safe retries
The limits are the MCP server's own: Limits and safe retries of the MCP server.
Troubleshooting
- Claude can read but not post.
- Either you allowed "See your account" only, or Claude was added with "Register automatically", so we did not recognise it. Disconnect it in the dashboard under API, then add the connector again with "Use Claude's published identity (Recommended)".
- A file attached to the chat cannot be posted.
- Claude cannot hand a chat attachment to the connector, and its code sandbox cannot reach our upload address. Upload the file in the dashboard under Media and ask Claude to post it by its name, or share it from Google Drive with "Anyone with the link" and give Claude the link.
- The answer is plan_limit_reached.
- The Status 200 Uploads account is on Free, where the AI connector is not included. Upgrade to Beginner or higher, or post from the dashboard.
- Claude keeps asking who should see the post.
- That is on purpose: a TikTok post needs a privacy level and a YouTube video a privacy status, and the connector refuses to choose them for you. Say it in your request, for example "public on TikTok".
- The connector stopped working.
- The connection length you chose has ended, or the connector was disconnected under API. Open Claude's connectors and connect it again.
Questions
Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector, so it can hold ours. The Status 200 Uploads side needs a paid plan: the AI connector is included in every paid plan, from Beginner.
No. Claude cannot pass a chat attachment to the connector. Upload the file in the dashboard under Media and ask Claude to post it by its name, or give Claude a Google Drive link shared with "Anyone with the link".
Yes. Add the connector once on claude.ai; Claude Desktop and the iPhone app use it too. Both were tested on 9 October 2026.
Claude asks before it uses a tool, unless you told it to always allow that tool. It also has to ask you for a TikTok privacy level and a YouTube privacy status: the connector refuses a post without them.
No. Status 200 Uploads cannot delete a post from a network once it is out, and no tool does. Claude can cancel a scheduled post before it goes out.
The AI connector is included in every paid plan, from Beginner. Your plan's daily limits apply to what Claude posts, as they do in the dashboard.
In the Status 200 Uploads dashboard, open API: every connected app is listed there, and Disconnect cuts Claude off at once. You can also remove the connector in Claude's settings.
