How to Schedule Skool Posts (No Native Scheduler Yet)

Skool's Help Center documents no post scheduler and Zapier can't post. Here's how to queue Skool posts via API or MCP, with the real limits.

How to Schedule Skool Posts (No Native Scheduler Yet)

Short answer: Skool's own Help Center doesn't describe a way to schedule a community post for later (we searched it for "schedule" on 17 Oct 2026 and only got articles on webinars, member roles and going live), and Skool's Zapier plugin has no "create post" action. To queue Skool posts, you need an outside tool that can post to Skool. Below is how to do it with the Status 200 Uploads REST API or an AI app over MCP, plus the Skool limits that trip people up.

Key Takeaways

Point Details
No native scheduler Skool's Help Center documents no way to schedule a post (checked 17 Oct 2026)
Zapier can't post Skool's Zapier actions only invite members and unlock courses
Schedule via API or MCP One POST /api/v2/posts with skool.group, skool.title and scheduledFor
Plan Skool needs a paid plan, from Beginner ($9/month)
Limit One Skool post per hour per account, 10 per day

What Skool offers today

  • No documented post scheduler. A search of the Skool Help Center for "schedule" returns "How to create webinar", "Member roles" and "How to go live on Skool". None of them cover scheduling posts. That only means it isn't documented, so check again if Skool ships something new.
  • Zapier can't post for you. Skool's Zapier Integration article (Pro plan only) lists four use cases: two triggers (paid member info, membership questions) and two actions, "Invite a member to your group" and "Unlock a course for a member in your group".

So the native options are: post by hand at the right time, or use a tool that queues the post and sends it for you.

How posting to Skool works

Skool's Help Center doesn't document a public API for creating posts, and its Zapier actions don't create posts either. So any scheduler that posts to Skool has to connect some other way.

How Status 200 Uploads does it: Skool has no official public API. You link your existing Skool sign-in once from your dashboard, and we store it encrypted. When a scheduled post is due, our servers publish it to the community and category you picked, with images or video. If Skool ever stops accepting your saved sign-in, the post is marked failed with a clear reconnect message. You reconnect on the Connections page and post again. Connecting Skool is at your own risk under Skool's terms, so we recommend linking a separate Skool profile made just for posting, not your main account.

How others do it: the open-source scheduler Postiz describes its Skool connection as one that "uses the Postiz browser extension to connect" instead of OAuth (Postiz docs). Its docs also add a fair warning about extension-based approaches: "Using a browser extension to interact with a platform may violate its terms of service and could result in your account being suspended or banned." Whatever tool you use, weigh that risk before you automate a community you depend on.

Option 1: Schedule a Skool post with the REST API

Status 200 Uploads lists Skool as a supported network with text, image and video posts (API docs). Skool needs a paid plan, from Beginner ($9/month) (pricing).

Step 1: Find your Skool group id

curl 'https://status200uploads.com/api/v2/accounts/YOUR_PROFILE_ID/options?platforms=skool' \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer rl_your_api_key'

The answer lists your Skool groups (id, slug, name) and the labels of a group. Send one of those group ids as skool.group (API docs).

Step 2: Check the post without sending it

Add "dryRun": true. Every check runs and nothing is sent or counted (API docs).

Step 3: Schedule it

curl -X POST 'https://status200uploads.com/api/v2/posts' \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer rl_your_api_key' \
  -H 'Idempotency-Key: weekly-challenge-2026-10-19-skool' \
  -d '{
    "post": {
      "accountId": "@mycommunity",
      "platform": "skool",
      "scheduledFor": "2026-10-19T09:00:00+02:00",
      "content": { "text": "This week: post your draft below by Sunday." },
      "skool": {
        "group": "YOUR_GROUP_ID",
        "title": "Week 13 challenge",
        "label": "YOUR_LABEL_ID"
      }
    }
  }'

What the API reference says about this request:

  • Skool needs skool.group and skool.title. If the community requires a category, the post is refused with category_required, so send skool.label.
  • scheduledFor must carry a time zone. A time without one is refused with scheduled_for_invalid. More than 60 seconds ahead returns 202 scheduled, up to 365 days ahead.
  • Text-only posts are fine on Skool. Media is optional for Skool, Threads, X, LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Never resend a scheduled request without the same Idempotency-Key, or the post gets scheduled twice.
  • Cancel with DELETE /api/v2/posts/{scheduled_post_id} before it goes out. There's no edit endpoint yet: cancel and reschedule.

Option 2: Let Claude or another AI app schedule it (MCP)

On paid plans from Beginner, you can add the hosted MCP server at https://mcp.status200uploads.com/mcp to an AI app such as Claude or Cursor and sign in. The app gets tools including status200_get_posting_options (it reads your Skool groups and labels), status200_validate_post (checks the Skool group without sending) and status200_schedule_post (API docs). A prompt like "Schedule this week's challenge in my Skool group for Monday 09:00 Ljubljana time" then runs through those same checks. More on that setup: MCP server for social publishing.

Option 3: Run it from n8n, Make or Zapier

Any tool that can send an HTTP request can schedule Skool posts through the REST API, and the REST API is on every plan (pricing). Two rules from the API docs keep a workflow from posting twice:

  • Build the Idempotency-Key from the item and the network, for example {{ $json.id }}-skool, and never from the time or a random value. That way a retry sends the same key, and a repeat within 24 hours gets the first answer back instead of a second post.
  • Read retry_after_seconds from the body on a 429. n8n reads the body, so it can wait exactly as long as the API asks.

To read back what happened, call GET /api/v2/posts?platform=skool. It lists your Skool posts and the scheduled ones still waiting.

The Skool limits to plan around

From the API reference:

Limit What happens
One Skool post per hour per account, 10 per day Faster gets rate_limited; two scheduled Skool posts under an hour apart get the warning skool_one_post_per_hour
Videos up to 5 GB Skool image sizes aren't checked on our side; Skool decides
Videos over 100 MB Finish in the background; the result shows in History
Once a post is out Status 200 Uploads can't delete it from Skool

A simple weekly Skool rhythm

  1. Write the week's posts in one sitting.
  2. Dry-run each one.
  3. Schedule them at least an hour apart.
  4. Spend the saved time replying to members.

FAQ

Can you schedule posts on Skool natively? Skool's Help Center doesn't document a post scheduler (checked 17 Oct 2026).

Can Zapier post to Skool? Not according to Skool's Zapier article: its two actions invite a member and unlock a course.

How often can I post to Skool through the API? One post per hour per account, up to 10 a day.

How does a scheduler post to Skool without an official API? It connects through your Skool sign-in. With Status 200 Uploads, you link it once from the dashboard, it's stored encrypted, and our servers publish at the scheduled time. If Skool stops accepting it, you reconnect on the Connections page.

Is Skool on the free plan? No. Skool starts on Beginner ($9/month). Free covers TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Threads (pricing).

Can I post images and videos to Skool? Through Status 200 Uploads, yes: text, image and video, with videos up to 5 GB (file limits).

What if my scheduled Skool post needs a change? There's no edit endpoint in the REST API yet, so cancel it and schedule it again. An AI app connected over MCP has status200_update_scheduled_post for the caption or time.
