Canonical: https://status200uploads.com/vs/zernio

Competitor details last verified 15 October 2026.

Zernio, formerly Late (getlate.dev), is an API-first platform for social posting, inboxes, ads and messaging. Here is how it compares, checked against Zernio's own pricing page and docs.

## Verdict

### Status 200 is better for

- Skool community owners: Skool is not among the platforms Zernio publishes to
- Creators and small brands who want one flat price: Beginner ($9/mo) covers 3 profiles, each with one account on up to 8 networks, where Zernio bills each account past the first 2 ($6 a month each up to 10 accounts)
- Creators who post Instagram Reels longer than 90 seconds or X videos larger than 512 MB
- People who keep their videos in Google Drive: paid plans post from a Google Drive share link

### Zernio is better for

- Developers building a product whose own users connect their accounts: white-label connect flows, webhooks and SDKs in 8 languages
- Teams that also post to Reddit, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, Telegram, Discord, Slack or WhatsApp
- Teams that want comments, DMs, reviews and ads in the same API
- Anyone with 1 or 2 accounts: Zernio's first 2 accounts are free, with no post allowance beyond its per-account caps

## Pricing comparison

Zernio list prices as published on its own website, checked 15 October 2026. The billing basis is shown with each plan where the vendor states it.

### Status 200 Uploads

| Plan | Price | What it includes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Free | Free | 1 profile, 30 posts per month, Skool from Beginner, X as a $9/mo add-on |
| Beginner | $9/mo | or $90 a year, 3 profiles, 20 posts per day per profile, includes Skool, X as a $9/mo add-on |
| Apprentice | $29/mo | or $290 a year, 5 profiles, 50 posts per day per profile, includes Skool, X as a $9/mo add-on |
| Skilled | $69/mo | or $690 a year, 10 profiles, Unlimited posts (up to 500 publish attempts per profile a day), includes Skool, X as a $9/mo add-on |
| Expert | $199/mo | or $1,990 a year, 25 profiles, Unlimited posts (up to 500 publish attempts per profile a day), includes Skool, X as a $9/mo add-on |
| Agency | $499/mo | Unlimited profiles, Unlimited posts (up to 500 publish attempts per profile a day), includes Skool, X as a $9/mo add-on |

Status 200 prices are for monthly billing (yearly: 2 months free). Post allowances count successful posts, all platforms combined.

### Zernio

| Plan | Price | What it includes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Accounts 1-2 | Free | No credit card required; every feature included |
| Accounts 3-10 | $6/mo | Per connected account, billed monthly by usage (metered daily) |
| Accounts 11-100 | $3/mo | Per connected account, billed monthly by usage |
| Accounts 101 and up | $1/mo | Per connected account, billed monthly by usage, no cap; enterprise contracts optional from 2,000 accounts |

Zernio has no plans or seats. Each connected account (an Instagram account, a Facebook Page, a YouTube channel, an ad account, a WordPress site or a Shopify store) is billed per month at the rate of its band, so 10 accounts cost $48/mo, 20 cost $78/mo and 100 cost $318/mo in Zernio's own examples. Accounts are metered daily and charged to a card on file; the first 2 need no card, but a third account or any X account does. X API calls are billed on top at X's rates ($0.015 per post, $0.20 per post with a link), and messages sent past 10,000 a month and ads past 500 are metered too. No yearly billing or trial is listed.

## Key differences

### Skool publishing

Status 200 posts to Skool communities on every paid plan, from Beginner ($9/mo): from the dashboard, the REST API, or an AI app such as Claude connected to our MCP server. Skool is not among the platforms Zernio lists on its site or in its docs (checked 15 October 2026).

### Per plan vs per connected account

Zernio bills each connected account: the first 2 are free, accounts 3 to 10 cost $6 a month each, 11 to 100 cost $3 and every one after that $1, metered daily. Status 200 prices per plan, and one profile holds one account on each supported network, so Beginner ($9/mo, or $90 a year) covers 3 brands on up to 8 networks each. One brand on the 7 networks both tools support (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Threads) costs $30 a month at Zernio and $9 on Beginner; 3 brands on 4 networks each (12 accounts) cost $54 at Zernio. Zernio costs less for 1 or 2 accounts (they are free), and for many accounts on one network, which take a profile each here.

### Longer Reels and bigger X videos

Status 200 takes Instagram Reels up to 15 minutes, Instagram's own limit for Reels published from an app, where Zernio's Instagram page lists 90 seconds. It also takes X videos up to 5 GB, where Zernio's X page lists 512 MB.

### Where Zernio is ahead

Zernio lists 16 platforms, among them Reddit, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, Telegram, Discord, Slack and WhatsApp; one of the 16, Snapchat, is not available yet. The same API covers an inbox for comments, DMs and reviews, ads on 8 ad networks, webhooks, SDKs in 8 languages and a CLI. It has apps in Zapier and Make; there is no Status 200 app in either. Its first 2 accounts are free, MCP server included.

## Who should use which?

### Choose Status 200 if...

- You run a Skool community and want it on the same schedule as your other networks
- You want a flat price: one brand on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Threads is $9/mo on Beginner ($7.50 a month billed yearly) and $30 a month at Zernio
- You post Instagram Reels longer than 90 seconds or X videos larger than 512 MB
- You keep your media in Google Drive: paid plans, from Beginner, import a Google Drive share link
- You want a dashboard with a media library and an AI caption generator next to the REST API

### Choose Zernio if...

- You need Reddit, Bluesky, Google Business Profile, Telegram, Discord, Slack or WhatsApp
- You are building a product whose users connect their own accounts, and want white-label connect flows, webhooks and SDKs in 8 languages
- You want an inbox for comments, DMs and reviews, or ads on 8 ad networks, in the same API
- You only need 1 or 2 accounts: Zernio's first 2 are free, with its MCP server and no post allowance beyond its per-account caps
- You post X threads, LinkedIn documents or polls, or Pinterest video Pins
- You build in Zapier or Make: there is no Status 200 app in either
- You connect many accounts on one network: 50 Instagram accounts cost $168 a month at Zernio, while Status 200 needs a profile for each, which means Agency ($499/mo)

## Switching from Zernio?

1. Create a free Status 200 Uploads account at status200uploads.com/signup
2. Connect the same social accounts you connected to Zernio. Eight networks connect through their own official sign-in (OAuth), so we never see your password. Skool has no such sign-in: you paste your Skool session cookie, which we store encrypted.
3. Upload your media to the Status 200 media library, or import it from a URL through the API (videos up to 5 GB, images up to 20 MB)
4. Point your code at the Status 200 REST API (POST /api/v2/posts, one request per network and profile), or use the Python package (pip install status200uploads) or the n8n node
5. Recreate scheduled posts with post.scheduledFor (up to 365 days ahead), confirm your first posts publish, then disconnect the accounts at Zernio so they stop being billed

## Questions

### Is Zernio the same company as Late (getlate.dev)?

Yes. Zernio is the new name of Late: its own timeline puts the rename in March 2026, getlate.dev now redirects to zernio.com, and its rebrand page says the API, the API keys and the webhooks did not change. Since then Zernio has added WhatsApp, phone numbers, SMS and calls, iMessage and more ad networks to its social publishing.

### Is Status 200 cheaper than Zernio?

It depends on how many accounts you connect and how they are spread. Zernio's first 2 accounts are free; after that each account costs $6 a month up to 10 accounts, $3 up to 100 and $1 beyond, so 8 accounts cost $36 a month, 12 cost $54 and 100 cost $318. Status 200 charges per plan: Beginner is $9/mo ($90 a year) for 3 profiles, Skilled $69/mo for 10 and Expert $199/mo for 25, and each profile can hold one account on each of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads and Skool; X is a $9/mo add-on. One brand on the 7 networks both tools support costs less here: $9 a month on Beginner (or nothing on Free, at 30 posts a month) against $30 at Zernio. One or two accounts cost nothing at Zernio, and many accounts on one network cost less there, because each needs its own profile here. Beginner also caps posts at 20 a day per profile; Zernio has no post allowance, only per-account caps such as 25 posts an hour.

### Does Zernio post to Skool?

Skool is not among the platforms Zernio lists on its site or in its docs (checked 15 October 2026). Status 200 posts to Skool communities on every paid plan, from Beginner ($9/mo), from the dashboard, the REST API or the AI connector. Skool has no official API, so you connect it by pasting your Skool session cookie, which we store encrypted.

### Does Zernio have a free plan?

Zernio has no plans, but its first 2 connected accounts are free with no credit card, and every feature comes with them: posts without an allowance (within its per-account caps), analytics, its API and its MCP server. A card is needed before a third account or any X account. Status 200 Free is 1 profile with 30 posts a month on 7 networks (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Threads) and the REST API with unlimited API keys. Skool is included from Beginner ($9/mo), X is a $9/mo add-on, and the AI connector is included in every paid plan, from Beginner.

### How do the AI connectors (MCP) compare?

Both run a hosted MCP server. Zernio's takes an OAuth sign-in or an API key on every account, the free tier included, and shows about 50 of its 496 tools by default, covering posting, the inbox, analytics and ads. Status 200's, at https://mcp.status200uploads.com/mcp, lets the app publish, schedule, check and retry posts on all 9 networks, Skool included, and read post numbers where the network reports them (not Skool); the AI connector is included in every paid plan, from Beginner. Tested with Claude and Claude Code. Another AI app can connect only if it supports MCP sign-in (OAuth) and, after you sign in, sends you back to a web address (https) or to your own computer. An app that offers only its own kind of address, such as app://, cannot sign in. If we do not recognise the app and it does not sign in on your own computer, it can only read until you tick "I trust this app and accept the risk". An app that cannot sign in can send the rl_* API key of an account on a paid plan instead, and gets a smaller set of 5 tools. The Free plan has the REST API, not the MCP server.

### How does posting to X compare?

Zernio passes X's own API charges through at X's rates: $0.015 per post and $0.20 per post with a link, plus reads if you switch on X analytics or the inbox, and it needs a card before you connect an X account. Status 200 sells X as a $9/mo add-on on any plan, Free included, with 200 X posts per billing month, up to 20 of them with a link. Those X posts do not count toward your plan's allowance.

### Can I use Status 200 with Zapier, Make or n8n, like Zernio?

There is no Status 200 app in Zapier or Make. Zernio has an app in each, and its n8n node is verified by n8n, so it installs on n8n Cloud. For n8n there is a Status 200 community node, @status200uploads/n8n-nodes-status200uploads, which n8n verified on 26 October 2026, for n8n Cloud and self-hosted n8n. Their HTTP steps (Webhooks by Zapier, on Zapier's paid plans; Make's HTTP module) can call the Status 200 REST API, which we have not tested yet. For Python there is a package: pip install status200uploads.
