### Blotato

| Plan | Price | What it includes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Starter | $29/mo | Billed monthly; 20 connected accounts, 1,250 AI credits a month, uploads up to 400 MB, 200 queued posts |
| Creator | $97/mo | Billed monthly; 40 connected accounts, 5,000 AI credits a month, uploads up to 1 GB, 1,000 queued posts |
| Agency | $499/mo | Billed monthly; 100 connected accounts, 28,000 AI credits a month, uploads up to 1 GB, 3,000 queued posts |

Blotato prices per plan, not per post or per seat, and counts connected accounts on all its networks together (each Facebook Page and each LinkedIn company Page counts as one). Yearly billing "saves about 17%": you pay for 10 months and get 12. It is chosen in Blotato's billing portal, and its pricing page prints no yearly prices. There is no free plan: each plan starts with a 7-day free trial (card required) that excludes the API and the MCP server, and generating an API key ends the trial and starts the paid Starter plan. Extra AI credits cost $6 per 1,000; prices for more than 100 accounts are not published.

## Key differences

### A free plan with API keys

Status 200 has a permanent Free plan with 1 profile, 30 posts per month on 7 platforms, and REST API keys with no monthly request cap. Blotato has no free plan: its 7-day trial (card required) includes everything except the API and the MCP server, and generating an API key ends the trial and starts the paid Starter plan at $29/mo.

### Videos up to 5 GB

Status 200 accepts videos up to 5 GB (resumable in the dashboard, or imported from a URL through the API) and publishes up to 5 GB to YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Skool, and up to 4 GB to TikTok. Blotato's media requirements page says Starter supports files up to 400 MB and Creator and Agency up to 1 GB, and lists lower limits for some networks: 512 MB on X and Facebook, 500 MB on LinkedIn and 10 minutes on TikTok.

### Skool, and a $9 start

Status 200 posts to Skool communities on every paid plan, from Beginner: $9/mo, or $7.50 a month billed yearly, for 3 profiles. Blotato publishes to 9 networks, Skool not among them, and its first plan, Starter, is $29/mo.

### Where Blotato is ahead

Blotato is also an AI content studio: unlimited AI writing, AI images and videos paid with monthly credits (1,250 on Starter), and ElevenLabs voiceovers. It posts to Bluesky; publishes threads on X, Threads and Bluesky, LinkedIn document carousels, Facebook Stories and Pinterest video Pins; and answers Instagram and Facebook comments and DMs, with DM automations. Its MCP server has 36 tools, and Make lists it as a verified app.

## Switching from Blotato?

1. Create a free Status 200 Uploads account at status200uploads.com/signup
2. Connect the same social accounts you use on Blotato (Bluesky is not supported). Eight networks connect through their own official sign-in (OAuth), so we never see your password. Skool has no such sign-in: you paste your Skool session cookie, which we store encrypted.
3. Upload the media you still need to the Status 200 media library (videos up to 5 GB, images up to 20 MB)
4. Recreate your scheduled posts in the dashboard, or send them to the REST API with post.scheduledFor, one request per post
5. If an AI app posted for you through Blotato's MCP server, add https://mcp.status200uploads.com/mcp as a custom connector in Claude or Claude Code instead. The AI connector is included in every paid plan, from Beginner.
6. Verify your first posts publish, then cancel your Blotato subscription in its billing portal

## Questions

### How much does Blotato cost, and is there a free plan?

Blotato has three plans, billed monthly: Starter $29/mo (20 connected accounts, 1,250 AI credits a month), Creator $97/mo (40 accounts, 5,000 credits) and Agency $499/mo (100 accounts, 28,000 credits). Yearly billing "saves about 17%" (you pay for 10 months and get 12) and is chosen in Blotato's billing portal. There is no free plan: a 7-day free trial (card required) includes everything except the API and the MCP server, and generating an API key ends the trial and starts the paid Starter plan (checked 15 October 2026). Status 200 has a permanent Free plan with 1 profile, 30 posts per month on 7 platforms and REST API keys; paid plans start at $9/mo.

### Is Status 200 cheaper than Blotato?

It depends on how your accounts are spread. Blotato prices by connected accounts on any of its 9 networks: Starter is $29/mo for 20 (each Facebook Page and LinkedIn company Page counts as one), Creator $97/mo for 40 and Agency $499/mo for 100, with AI credits included. Status 200 prices by profile, and a profile holds one account on each of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads and Skool (X is a $9/mo add-on): Beginner is $9/mo ($7.50 a month billed yearly) for 3 profiles with up to 20 posts a day each, and Apprentice is $29/mo for 5 profiles with up to 50 posts a day each. For a few brands on several networks, Status 200 costs less: 3 brands on 6 networks each (18 accounts) fit Beginner at $9/mo, against $29/mo for Blotato Starter. For many accounts on one network, Blotato costs less: 20 Instagram accounts fit Blotato Starter ($29/mo) but need 20 Status 200 profiles (Expert, $199/mo). Both bill a year at the price of 10 months; Status 200 Agency is billed monthly only.

### Does Blotato have an API and an MCP server?

Yes. Blotato has a REST API (https://backend.blotato.com/v2, with a blotato-api-key header) and a hosted MCP server with 36 tools for publishing, scheduling, analytics, comments, DMs and AI visuals. Both come with every paid plan (Starter, Creator and Agency) and neither is in the 7-day trial. Its documented limits include 30 requests a minute to create posts and 60 a minute for most reads. Blotato's pages list no official SDK, and neither tool lists webhooks that report a post's status (Status 200 has none yet). Status 200's REST API is on every plan, Free included, with no monthly request cap, and there is a Python package: pip install status200uploads. The AI connector is included in every paid plan, from Beginner. Tested with Claude and Claude Code.

### Does Blotato post to Skool?

No. Blotato publishes to 9 networks: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest and YouTube, and its pricing file says the list is exhaustive. Status 200 posts to Skool communities on every paid plan, from Beginner ($9/mo), from the dashboard, the REST API or an AI app signed in to our MCP server. Skool has no official API: you paste your Skool session cookie, which we store encrypted. Blotato posts to Bluesky, which Status 200 does not.

### How large can videos be on Blotato and on Status 200?

Blotato's media requirements page says Starter supports files up to 400 MB and Creator and Agency up to 1 GB, and that a network's lower limit applies (for example 10 minutes on TikTok). Status 200 accepts videos up to 5 GB (resumable in the dashboard, or imported from a URL through the API) and publishes up to 5 GB to YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Skool, and up to 4 GB to TikTok; Instagram (300 MB) and Threads (1 GB) have lower limits of their own. Pinterest posts are images only on Status 200.

### Can I use n8n, Make or Zapier with Blotato or Status 200?

Blotato has an n8n node that n8n has verified, so it installs on n8n Cloud, and Make lists Blotato as a verified app; Blotato's pages list no Zapier app. Status 200 has a community node, @status200uploads/n8n-nodes-status200uploads, which n8n verified on 26 October 2026 (n8n Cloud and self-hosted n8n), and there is no Zapier or Make app: their HTTP steps (Webhooks by Zapier, on Zapier's paid plans; Make's HTTP module) can call the REST API, which we have not tested yet.

### Can Blotato reply to comments and DMs?

Yes, on Instagram and Facebook. Blotato has an inbox for comments and messages and reply-only DM automations, counted in active contacts per month (1,000 on Starter, 6,000 on Creator and 15,000 on Agency). Status 200 publishes and schedules posts and reports their numbers; it has no inbox.
